EXPRESSIVE BEAR BLANK BUTTON 1904 ! ! !

This wonderful early blond STEIFF boy was made around 1904 and is 13.4" (33,5 cm) tall. Ted is stuffed with Kapok and wood wool, so he is quite light weighted, covered with soft, longhaired, blond mohair, he has shoe button eyes and a black stitched nose, mouth and 4 claws, little hump back and a pointed nose. The felt paw pads are all original and in excellent condition, only a minor repair to the left hand pad. The bear has very long arms and the most expressive look, he is proud about his blank button in ear. Overall condition is very good, the only bald spot to his right hand near the claws is ca. 1.6" x 0.8".
