Steiff Hannibal

This very hard to find Steiff bear with leather muzzle was made around 1905. He is 13.2” (33 cm) tall covered  with white or faded light brown mohair, partly stuffed with kapok and wood wool. Dark stitched nose and mouth, 4 black claws, balck shoe button eyes. The felt paw pads are partly replaced. Hannibal hast still the underscored FF-button in ear and wears his wonderful leather muzzle. He has very long arms, a pointed long snout and a humpback. Overall condition is good, non-working double squeaker, some mohair loss all over, about 80% of covering is still present. A awesome collector bear, with lots of character. CLICK HERE for more pics
