Huge Steiff Ted 25.2"

This huge Steiff bear ist the type who manages to stand on all fours, since he has pretty long arms. He is 25.2" (63cm) tall and was made in the early 1920s. Ted is covered with deep gold, rich mohair, see the last pictures. The old boy has glass eyes, a black original stiched nose and mouth and 4 black claws, he owns a big hump back and his growler is working very well, he likes to growl a lot. One paw pad is replaced, the two on his arms are half original, with some replacement. He still owns his underscored FF-button in ear and has very long curved arms. The old boy is overall in good condition, retains about 85 % mohair. Loss to the right arm, some to the right leg and heel, left leg some thinning to the back.
